Francis Bacon's 'Man with Dog', 1953 is currently on display at The San Diego Museum of Art, as part of the exhibition: 'Gauguin to Warhol: 20th Century Icons from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery'. Francis Bacon's painting is on display in an exhibition that aims to trace the path of modern art through a survey of iconic 20th century works from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery. As well as Francis Bacon, works from over forty artists are present including: Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Georgia O’Keeffe and Salvador Dalí. For more information please visit the exhibition site. The exhibition was initiated by the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York, and was organized by Albright-Knox Chief Curator Douglas Dreishpoon.
