BACON ART ATTENDS COLLECTION LAMBERT REOPENING

Francis Bacon's Seated Figure (1974) is currently being displayed in Avignon France. Two exhibitions mark The Collection Lambert's reopening to the public, following the completion of refurbishment to increase the exhibition space, Seated Figure features in the show Patrice Chéreau: An Imaginary Museum The temporary inaugural exhibition plays tribute to Patrice Chéreau, who Collection Lambert describes as a giant in the worlds of theatre, cinema and opera. The show runs until 11 October, hosted at The Hôtel de Chaumont space. The exhibition has been designed in association with the IMEC (Institute for Contemporary Publishing Archives), promising to plunge visitors into the world of Patrice Chéreau.
